Class Description

Learn how to balance first and then how to pedal a bicycle. We offer classes for youth, 5 - 12 years old and Teens/Adults, 13 yrs. and older. Teens are welcome to join either class. Starting and stopping skills are introduced as well.

REALLY IMPORTANT -
Before arriving for class, please check to be sure the bike seat can be lowered enough to enable the rider to SIT while placing their HEELS FLAT on the ground with a slight bend in the knee. This reduces anxiety by helping the rider feel in control while developing their balance reflex.  Riders must wear a properly fitted bicycle helmet.

Children are expected to show up with a properly sized, bicycle with inflated tires and functioning brakes. LOANER BIKES AND HELMETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ADULTS ONLY.

Learn to ride registration covers all Learn to Ride classes within the same calendar year. Registrants may return to as many classes as it takes, without the need to register or pay again, within the same calendar year. Please save your registration confirmation email notification and be prepared to show it at class.

RAIN? If we cancel due to inclement weather, we will post it on FACEBOOK and email the roster registered for that specific date.
