Class Description

For those already balancing and pedaling, but wishing to improve their confidence, bike handling skills and understanding of street savvy strategies for riding in the road. We work on starts, stops, turning, yielding, scanning, signaling, climbing, emergency maneuvers, situational awareness, and more. We also instruct how to make sure your bike is road ready, identifying, the limitations of riding on sidewalks and when becoming a pedestrian is a good option.

LOCATION
Bike Education programs are conducted in Lot #28South on the far corner of the Montclair State University campus, behind the Ben Samuels Children’s Center, 80 Clove Road, Little Falls, NJ 07424.  Drive through the large #28 parking lot and past the front entrance of the Children’s Center to the back to lot #28S just around the corner.

• Cost is $40 (incl. unlimited returns)

• Classes are offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Class schedule is updated each month. Classes run from April - October.
